Indian Idol: Bringing the Stage to You

The top voices of Indian Idol arrived not to a stadium, but to a room full of cable operators who put them on air.
About
Sony Pictures wanted its local cable operators in the same room as the season's finalists — not on a screen, live. The people who carry the show to millions rarely stand close enough to hear it breathe. The ask was to close that distance.
An office floor became a stage for one afternoon. The finalists sang the songs the country had been voting on, and the room stopped being an audience. People rose, moved, sang the lines back — 200 of them, on their feet.
Highlights — Two hundred operators traded their screens for the front row.
